🔁 1. Ôn tập – 10 phút
🔁 Ôn thẻ từ vựng đến hạn
🧠 Nhớ lại buổi trước (không xem tài liệu)
- Part 4: trước khi nghe bạn làm gì (buổi 21, 41, 61)?
- Kể 3 cách nói thận trọng (tend to, may…).
- Ở bài thi thử giữa khóa, bạn đúng mấy câu Listening?
Trả lời to hoặc viết ra giấy, rồi mới mở lại buổi trước để kiểm tra.
⏱️ 2. Làm bài tính giờ – 15 phút
Quy tắc thi thật: chỉ có 45 giây đọc câu hỏi → nghe một lần → không mở lời thoại cho đến khi chấm.
🎧 Bài nghe
A lecturer is giving a talk on wearable health devices to public health students
Nghe tối đa 2 lần trước khi xem lời thoại.
📄 Xem lời thoại (sau khi làm bài)
- Lecturer
- Today's topic is wearable health devices – things like smartwatches and fitness bands that people wear on their wrist to track their health.
- Lecturer
- Most of these devices measure a few basic things: the number of steps you take, your heart rate and how long you sleep. Some newer models also claim to measure stress levels, although how accurately they do this is still debated.
- Lecturer
- Why are they so popular? The main attraction seems to be motivation. Seeing your daily step count, for example, appears to encourage many people to walk more. There is some evidence that this effect is strongest in the first few months, after which many users lose interest.
- Lecturer
- Accuracy is another issue. Step counts are generally fairly reliable, but sleep measurements may be much less precise, because the device is only detecting movement, not what is actually happening in the brain.
- Lecturer
- There are also concerns about privacy. These devices collect a large amount of personal data, and users don't always know who it is shared with – for example, whether it might be sold to advertisers or insurance companies.
- Lecturer
- Finally, some doctors worry about a psychological effect. A small number of users become anxious when their numbers aren't 'good enough', and they may check their devices constantly. So, while wearables can be a useful tool, they should support – not replace – advice from health professionals.

- Viết lại 4 câu khẳng định mạnh về công nghệ thành câu thận trọng (10 phút).
- Chép chính tả đoạn về privacy (5 phút).
💼 Dùng ngay – trình bày kết quả dự án cho nhóm (thêm 5–10 phút)
Công thức: mục tiêu → kết quả chính (có số liệu thật) → điều chưa đạt → bài học → bước tiếp theo.
🗣️ 🗣️ Trình bày kết quả dự án
1) Bấm 🔊 Nghe. 2) Nói theo. 3) Bấm 🎙 Ghi âm, nói, rồi ⏹ Dừng. 4) Bấm ▶ Nghe mình để so sánh.
Our goal was to reduce customer waiting time on the phone.
Mục tiêu của chúng ta là giảm thời gian khách chờ điện thoại.
Over the three months, the average waiting time fell from six minutes to under four.
Trong ba tháng, thời gian chờ trung bình giảm từ sáu phút xuống dưới bốn phút.
However, we didn't reach our target for weekend calls.
Tuy nhiên, chúng ta chưa đạt mục tiêu cho cuộc gọi cuối tuần.
The main lesson is that we need more staff on Saturday mornings.
Bài học chính là cần thêm người vào sáng thứ Bảy.
Next, I'd suggest a one-month trial with two extra people at weekends.
Tiếp theo, tôi đề xuất thử một tháng với hai người thêm vào cuối tuần.
