The line graph shows how the share of in-store payments made using cash, cards and mobile phones changed in Country K between 2010 and 2026.
Overall, cash declined steadily over the period, while mobile payments rose dramatically to become the most common method by 2026. Card payments increased at first but fell back towards the end of the period.
In 2010, cash accounted for almost two thirds of payments (65%), compared with 33% for cards and just 2% for mobile phones. The figure for cash then fell consistently, dropping to 40% in 2018 and only 15% by 2026.
Card payments grew to 45% in 2018 and remained at this level in 2022, overtaking cash as the most popular method in 2018. However, their share then decreased to 35% in 2026.
Mobile payments, meanwhile, saw the most striking change. After slow growth to 5% in 2014, they climbed rapidly to 30% in 2022 and reached half of all payments in 2026, twenty-five times their 2010 level and well ahead of both other methods.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing as a regular user of your BusTrack app, which I have used almost every day for the past two years to plan my journey to and from work.
Overall, I find the app extremely useful, particularly the live map showing where each bus is. However, I have recently experienced a recurring problem. When a bus is cancelled, the app often continues to show it as due, sometimes for up to fifteen minutes. On three occasions last month, I waited at the stop for a bus that never arrived and was late for work as a result.
I would like to suggest that the app sends an alert when a service on a user's saved route is cancelled or significantly delayed. Ideally, the alert could also recommend the next available bus or an alternative route. I imagine this information is already available to your system, so it may not be difficult to add.
I believe this improvement would make the app far more reliable for commuters like me, and I would be happy to take part in testing a new version.
