Staff Handbook – Brightwave Ltd (giả định)
1. Working hours Normal working hours are 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. Staff may start between 8 and 9.30 a.m. if their manager agrees, as long as they work eight hours a day.
2. Annual leave Full-time employees are entitled to 15 days of paid annual leave per year. Requests must be made through the HR system at least two weeks in advance and approved by your line manager. No more than five days of unused leave can be carried over to the following year.
3. Sick leave If you are ill, you must inform your manager by phone before 9 a.m. on your first day of absence. Text messages are not accepted. For absences of more than two days, a medical certificate is required.
4. Overtime Overtime must be approved by your manager before it is worked. It is paid at 150% of the normal hourly rate on weekdays and 200% at weekends.
5. Probation All new employees complete a three-month probation period. During this time, either side may end the contract with one week’s notice. After probation, the notice period is one month.
6. Training The company pays for job-related courses. Staff who leave within one year of finishing a course costing more than 10 million VND may be asked to repay part of the cost.
