🗣️ 2. Đầu vào – 20 phút

Q: What kind of clothes do you usually wear? A: It depends on the day. At work, I have to look fairly smart, so I usually wear a shirt and trousers, whereas at weekends I prefer casual clothes like T-shirts and jeans. Comfort is the most important thing for me.

Q: Do you prefer comfortable shoes or fashionable ones? A: Comfortable ones, without a doubt. I walk a lot, so I mostly wear trainers. Although I own a pair of smart leather shoes, I only wear them for weddings and important meetings – and my feet always hurt by the end of the day!

👀 Bài nói mẫu Part 2 (đọc sau khi đã tự nói)

Bài mẫu do khóa học viết; trải nghiệm là giả định.

I’d like to talk about the tradition of visiting family graves before the Lunar New Year, which is still very common in Vietnam, especially in the countryside.

It usually happens in the last few days of the old year, after people have cleaned and decorated their homes for Tet.

On the day, the whole extended family gathers – sometimes twenty or thirty people. We go to the cemetery together, clean the graves, pull up the weeds and bring fresh flowers and fruit. Then each person lights incense and says a few words to invite the ancestors to come home and celebrate the New Year with the family. Afterwards, we usually go back to my grandparents’ house and have a big meal together.

Last year, my cousins came back from the city with their young children, and the older relatives took the time to explain who was buried where and tell stories about them. The kids were fascinated.

I like this tradition because it connects different generations. Despite the fact that many young people now live far away and lead very modern lives, this day reminds us where we come from. It’s also one of the few times in the year when the whole family is together in one place, so it feels very special.
