The line graph illustrates how households in Country V divided their spending between housing, food, transport and leisure from 2000 to 2025.
Overall, housing replaced food as the largest area of spending, while the proportion spent on leisure rose steadily. By contrast, the share spent on transport changed very little over the period.
In 2000, food was the biggest expense, accounting for 35% of household spending, compared with 25% for housing. However, the two categories then moved in opposite directions. Housing overtook food around 2010 and continued to rise, reaching 36% in 2025, whereas the share spent on food fell steadily to 22%.
Among the smaller categories, leisure saw the most significant change. It accounted for only 8% of spending in 2000, but this figure more than doubled to 18% by 2025. Transport, on the other hand, remained relatively stable, rising slightly from 12% to a peak of 15% in 2015 and 2020, before falling back to 14% at the end of the period.

Unfortunately, after only ten days of normal use, the purifier stopped working completely. The power light does not come on, even though I have tried several different sockets. I followed all the instructions in the manual, so I am confident that the fault is not a result of misuse.
I contacted your customer service by phone on 14 November, and I was told that the product could be repaired, but that this would take at least three weeks. As I bought the purifier because my son suffers from asthma, I cannot wait that long. Furthermore, I am not confident that a product which failed so quickly will be reliable in the future.
