👉 Khi nào dùng bị động? Khi người làm không quan trọng hoặc không biết, hoặc muốn giọng khách quan (quy định, báo cáo). Đừng bị động hóa mọi câu – văn sẽ nặng và mơ hồ.
🎧 4. Thực hành – 20 phút
- Nghe lại, mở lời thoại: gạch tất cả câu bị động (có ít nhất 8) (7 phút).
- Đóng vai 2 phút: bạn gọi báo mất một đồ vật; mô tả theo màu → chất liệu → đặc điểm → bên trong (6 phút).
- Sổ cụm từ band 7: I’m not too bothered about, follow it up, turn up, either way (7 phút).
💼 Dùng ngay – biên bản sự việc khách quan (thêm 5–10 phút)
Biên bản tốt: thời gian – địa điểm – sự việc – người liên quan – hành động đã làm; chỉ ghi điều quan sát được, không suy đoán lỗi.
📝 Incident record (60–90 từ)
Write an objective record of a minor incident at work (e.g. an item lost or damaged, an access card not returned). Include time, place, what happened, who was involved and actions taken. Avoid guessing who was at fault.

A visitor's laptop bag was reported missing by the visitor, Mr Lee, after a training session. The bag had been left under the table during a fifteen-minute break. The room was checked by reception staff at 14:30, and the bag was found in the adjacent room at 14:45, apparently moved during cleaning. Contents were checked by Mr Lee and reported complete. Cleaning staff have been reminded to hand in any items found.
