✍️ 2. Đầu vào – 20 phút

Đề bài (tự viết, bám chủ đề du lịch hay gặp):

Some people believe that travelling abroad is the best way to learn about other cultures. Others think that people can learn just as much about other countries from books, films and the internet. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

🧭 Thân bài: Ý → Giải thích → Ví dụ

Mỗi đoạn thân bài bắt đầu bằng câu chủ đề nêu rõ đoạn đó nói về quan điểm nào.
Ý: một lý do chính. Giải thích: vì sao lý do đó đúng / dẫn đến điều gì. Ví dụ: một trường hợp cụ thể, hợp lý (có thể từ kinh nghiệm của bạn).
Một đoạn có thể có 2 ý, mỗi ý đi kèm giải thích ngắn – nhưng đừng liệt kê 4–5 ý không giải thích.
Ví dụ không cần số liệu. Không bịa nghiên cứu (“Scientists have proved that 80%…”).

Lập dàn ý 5 phút trước khi viết: ghi 1 ý + 1 ví dụ cho mỗi quan điểm, và quyết định ý kiến của bạn.

Some people argue that the best way to understand another culture is to travel to that country, while others believe that books, films and the internet can teach us just as much. In my opinion, although these resources are useful, there is no real substitute for first-hand experience.

On the one hand, it is true that people can learn a great deal without leaving home. Travelling abroad is expensive and takes time, so it is not possible for everyone. By contrast, books, documentaries and online videos are cheap and easy to access, and they can teach us about the history, customs and daily life of almost any country. For example, many travel videos are made by local people who explain their own traditions, such as how they celebrate festivals or prepare traditional food.

On the other hand, I believe that visiting a country in person gives a much deeper understanding of its culture. When we travel, we can talk to local people, watch how they behave in everyday situations and try things for ourselves. This often helps us to see that some of our ideas about other countries are only stereotypes. In my experience, a short business trip to Japan taught me more about Japanese politeness and punctuality than any film I had watched, because I could see these customs in real life and ask my colleagues about them.

In conclusion, books, films and the internet are a good way to start learning about other cultures, especially for people who cannot travel. However, I believe that travelling abroad remains the best way to truly understand how people in another country live and think.
