The maps illustrate how Lam Island changed between 2006 and 2026 as a result of tourist development.
Overall, the island was transformed from a small fishing and farming community into a tourist destination, with a range of new facilities for visitors. These developments came partly at the expense of the forest, although the beach and the location of the village remained unchanged.
In 2006, much of the western half of the island was covered by forest, and the only settlement was a fishing village on the southern side, next to an area of farmland to its north. There were no facilities for tourists, and the island could be reached only by fishing boat.
By 2026, the eastern part of the forest had been cleared to make way for a resort hotel and a swimming pool. The former farmland was replaced by a car park and reception area, and the village had expanded to include shops and cafés. A jetty was built on the east coast, allowing ferries to bring visitors directly to the island, and a new footpath now links the hotel, the village and the beach.

I would therefore like a partial refund of at least 2,000,000 dong, and I would ask you to update your website so that it accurately reflects what is included.
